What is Add Cash?

Can You Deposit Cash at an ATM with CARD.com?

While you can’t deposit cash directly into your CARD.com Premium Bank Account at a MoneyPass ATM1, there’s still a reliable way to add funds. You can visit one of 90,000 participating retail locations nationwide where the Add Cash8 feature is available. This option allows you to load money into your account at a time that works for you! No bank visit or credit checks required.

Before adding money to your account, it’s a good idea to prepare your cash by counting and organizing your bills in a secure location. Once ready, you can bring it to a participating retailer, hand your cash to the cashier, and use your card, or a generated barcode if you’re using the CARD Premium Banking App6, to load your funds into your checking account.

How Add Cash Deposits Work?

  • Count and organize your cash in a secure place before you leave, and keep bills flat and facing the same direction
  • Open the CARD Premium Banking App6 (or visit the CARD.com locator online) and use the Add Cash locator to find a participating retail location near you
  • If you are using the mobile app, you can generate a bar code for the Add Cash function so you can present it at checkout, otherwise have your CARD.com debit card ready
  • At the checkout counter, tell the cashier you want to use Add Cash to load money into your account. Hand the cashier the cash, your debit card, or the generated barcode from the app
  • The cashier will process the Add Cash transaction and give you a receipt. Keep that receipt until you confirm the funds is in your account
  • Confirm the deposit by checking your account balance in the mobile app. If the funds do not appear according to the retailer’s processing guidance, contact our CARD.com customer support and provide your receipt
